Connect your first integration

An integration is a connected provider account. You need one to continue; you can add the others any time.

Most people start with GitHub because it discovers the most sources and shows a failed build immediately. If your revenue question is more urgent, start with RevenueCat — the matching step will line the repositories up with it later.

  1. On the empty portfolio, or under Settings → Integrations, choose a provider.
  2. Authorise Ubrella with the provider. GitHub and PostHog use OAuth; RevenueCat uses an API key you create in its dashboard. Each provider guide explains exactly which permissions are needed and why: GitHub, RevenueCat, PostHog.
  3. Ubrella runs a first discovery and lists what it found — continue with Discover sources.

If your projects are spread across a personal GitHub account and one or more organisations, connect each one. They appear side by side as GitHub · olivermark and GitHub · your-org, and their sources can be assigned to the same projects.

Tokens and keys are written to a dedicated secrets store and never to ordinary database records. Ubrella uses them only to read the data listed in the provider guide. Disconnecting an integration revokes the token on our side and deletes its sources, metrics and events within 30 days.
