Daily brief

The daily brief is a short, written summary of your whole workspace, generated once the morning sync has finished.

Good morning. 2 of 5 projects look normal.

People needs attention: its main GitHub Action has failed twice since yesterday, and revenue is 31 % below the previous 7 days.

Wilhelm revenue is 24 % below baseline while usage remains stable — trial starts dropped, nothing was deployed.

Grill Me has three pull requests waiting for more than three days.

Last30 is growing: active users up 24 % this week.

How it is made

1. The sync writes today’s snapshots and evaluates the attention rules.
2. The brief generator receives the structured result — Pulse per project, open items, the largest metric changes, notable events — and nothing else. It does not call any provider.
3. It writes the headline and one sentence per project that needs you, then one for the most notable positive change. Projects that are simply fine are not mentioned.

Because the input is structured, the brief cannot claim something the rules did not find. Every sentence maps to an item or a metric you can open.

Where it arrives

• In the app — top of Home, on web and iOS.
• Push — one notification per morning to the iOS app, with the headline.
• Email — the full brief, sent right after the sync. Plain text and a light HTML version with the Pulse rings inline.

Push and email can be switched off separately in Settings. The in-app brief is always there.

Timing

The sync runs at 06:00 in your workspace’s time zone; the brief follows within minutes. Timestamps inside the brief say today and yesterday, never minutes — see Sync for why.
